...It's the name of a movie, It's the name of a sound, It's the name of something when you hit the ground.

Although Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci had very prosperous careers as artists, their childhoods were not exactly the same. The early lives of these two both began in small towns within Italy, with Leonardo being raised in a small town outside of Florence called Vinci and Michelangelo starting his life with a Wet nurse and then with his father and his new wife in Florence. Michelangelo spent a majority of his days with a stone cutter whereas Leonardo was an illegitimate child and therefore could not partake in his father's trade. Due to various reasons within their family lives, both Michelangelo and Leonardo did not receive a proper education, however the two eventually discovered a passion for art. While Leonardo's father supported his passion for the arts, Michelangelo's Father was not so enthusiastic towards Michelangelo's passion and was actually appalled at the idea. Once their artistic talents were discovered, both Michelangelo and Leonardo took up apprenticeships from which they went on to create various artworks. Leonardo began to mix with the elite society. The two young men continued their apprenticeships and eventually made an artwork that impressed their teacher extensively. Leonardo had created a painting that had surpassed his teacher whom never painted again. Whereas, Michelangelo's teacher was so impressed by his work that he invited Michelangelo to come live with him in his palace where he met philosophers and other such likes of society.
