I think we all want an easy life... at least, one that doesn't come across challenges that test your emotions and pull on your heart strings. We just want to be happy, healthy, and have a life full of love. However, that's like always wanting to win a game, eventually, it becomes boring and you begin to lack substance, losing the oringinal joy of winning. Our failures, losses, hardships, etc. are what keep life exciting, letting us feel pain and sorrow so we can truely appreciate our successes, gains and general happiness. And in the end, you can have the sadisfaction in knowing that you worked hard to get to where you are now. Even if you get there with copious amounts of battle wounds and too many scars to count, you can know that they are not symbols of what almost defeated you, but rather, what you survived and conquered.
