One would come to the conclusion that a persons morals may be questioned when in the presence of a moral dilemma, such as in "Just Lather, That's All," by Hernando Tellez. This becomes clear throughout the story through the general internal conflict that the protagonist has occuring within him. He would be considered "the avenger of us all" (Page 127) by his fellow rebels, but "a coward." (Page 127) by the other side. Therefore the protagonist has to overcome this conflict presented based upon what he believes to be the possible outcomes of his actions and the morals involved with each one. He would have to give up morals to please one group, however if he kept his morals, he would still be looked down upon. This brings about the theme that during a dilemma, a persons morals may be questioned.
